View as Webpage July 7, 2025 Reno Connect | City of Reno Strategic Priorities Drop-In Workshops Give Us Your Input!   Public Invited to Help Shape Strategic Priorities at July Community Drop-In Workshops The City of Reno invites residents to provide input on key issues related to the City’s strategic priorities. Four community drop-in workshops will be held between July 8 and July 15. Each session will feature an open, interactive format where City staff will hear residents’ perspectives on Reno’s strengths, challenges, and opportunities, and gather ideas the City should consider to address community needs. Residents will be able to discuss topics such as fiscal sustainability, public safety, economic opportunity, homelessness, and affordable housing, economic and community development, infrastructure, climate change, and environmental sustainability, arts, parks, and historical resources, governance and organizational effectiveness. Workshop Schedule: Tuesday, July 8, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Neil Road Recreation Center, 3925 Neil Road Thursday, July 10, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McKinley Arts and Culture Center, 925 Riverside Drive Saturday, July 12, 2p.m. to 4 p.m. at South Valleys Library, 15650A Wedge Parkway Tuesday, July 15, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Stead Airport, 4895 Texas Avenue Spanish assistance will be available at each workshop. These workshops are designed to be informal, open-house style events where residents are welcome to stop by at any time during the scheduled period. There is no formal presentation or set agenda, so attendees do not need to arrive at the beginning or stay for the entire duration. In addition to the workshops, residents can visit the first floor of City Hall from July 7 to July 24 to submit written feedback on the City’s priority areas. More information here!
