Spring Break Camps Are Here 🎉

View as Webpage February 14, 2025 Reno Connect | Parks & Recreation Spring Break Camps   Registration for the City of Reno’s Spring Break Camps Opens February 18! Looking for an exciting way to keep your kids engaged this Spring Break? The City of Reno has you covered with a variety of fun-filled camps designed to spark creativity, encourage adventure, and keep your child active! From our full-day Vacation Station Camps to specialty camps focusing on biking, history, and performing arts, there’s something for every interest and age group. Hurry—space is limited! Registration opens Tuesday, February 18! Register online or in person at the Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center. 🌞 Vacation Station Spring Break Camps Discover endless fun at the Vacation Station Spring Break Camps. Activities include games, arts and crafts, sports, and field trips to High Velocity and Moana Pool during session 1, and Roller Kingdom and Moana Pool during session 2. Ages: 6 to 12.5 Cost: $145/week (lunch not included) Dates & Times: Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Session 1: March 17-21, Session 2: March 24-28 Locations: Jessie Beck Elementary School – 1900 Sharon Way JWood Raw Elementary School – 10600 Green Pasture Drive Westergard Elementary School – 1785 Ambassador Drive Mount Rose Elementary School – 915 Lander Street Scholarships are available for Vacation Station camps. Please contact the City’s administration office at 775-334-2260 for more information. Applications may take up to 10 days to review and process and must be received before the camp start date. Specialty Camps Specialty camps run Monday-Friday, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. For families in need of additional care outside these hours, a before-camp program is available for $36/week and an after-camp program is available for $54/week. Both the before-camp and after-camp programs will be located at the McKinley Arts & Culture Center. Transportation to or from the specialty camps and to or from McKinley Arts & Culture Center is included for participants. 🚲 Bike Camp Campers will learn bike safety and basic mountain biking skills. If participants do not have a bike or helmet, equipment will be provided at camp. Participants must already know how to ride a bike without training wheels. Camp includes field trips to Hidden Valley Park. Ages: 7 to 12.5 Cost: $250/week (lunch not included) Dates: March 24-28 Location: Kiwanis Bike Program – 5305 Mill Street 🏺 History Explorers Club Campers will sharpen their writing and research skills while working with a UNR history education graduate. Camp includes a field trip to the Pyramid Lake Museum. Ages: 10 to 14 Cost: $150/week (lunch not included) Dates: March 17-21 & March 24-28 Location: Mamie Towles Elementary - 2800 Kings Row 🎭 Performing Arts Camp Unleash your creativity! Campers will explore the exciting world of improv, dance, and music through fun, interactive activities that build confidence and spark the imagination. Ages: 7 to 12.5 Cost: $225/week (lunch not included) Dates: March 17-21 & March 24-28 Location: McKinley Arts & Culture Center - 925 Riverside Drive Register early to secure your child’s spot!
