View as Webpage April 2, 2025 Reno Connect | Biggest Little Spring Cleaning Events 2025 Join us to discard accepted junk items!   City of Reno Invites Residents to the 2025 Biggest Little Spring Cleaning Events The City of Reno is pleased to announce the dates for this year's Biggest Little Spring Cleaning events. The City is partnering with Redwood Materials, HERO Environmental Services and Waste Management of Northern Nevada to properly discard of household hazardous waste, electronic, and junk items during select clean-ups. The Biggest Little Spring Cleaning events will be offered in every Ward to allow a close location for all residents. Residents are encouraged to arrive early as the event comes to a close once bins are full. Hazardous and e-waste pick-up has been generously sponsored by councilmembers in their respective wards. Items accepted: Large trash and debris, no more than one truck bed size limit (3 ft. By 3 ft.) One large appliance per household Household hazardous materials** including paint or oil, no more than one truck bed size limit (3 ft. By 3 ft.) Bicycles, six total per household Electronics and batteries, no more than one truck bed size limit (3 ft. By 3 ft.) Tires, six total per household Green waste Items not accepted: Mercury (Thermostats and some medical equipment) Prescription drugs (Some pharmacies, like CVS, offer proper prescription drug disposal) CRT TVs (tube TVs) Asbestos or asbestos-related items Radioactive smoke detectors We’re also looking for passionate volunteers to help at the events in a fun and rewarding way to give back to our city. Whether you're an individual, a family, or part of a group, your help is appreciated! We’ll provide all necessary supplies, you just bring your energy and community spirit.
