The Reno Report for December 15, 2025

Email from City of Reno Reno City Manager Jackie Bryant, here with another Reno Report! Can't view this email? View as Webpage A Message From Reno City Manager, Jackie Bryant. Hello, Reno! I hope you’re finding opportunities to slow down, spend meaningful time with friends and family, and enjoy the warmth and generosity that truly define our community. With the final Reno City Council meeting of the year now wrapped up, we’re looking forward to a brief pause before Council resumes on January 14. In the meantime, this pause gives us a special moment to reflect on everything we’ve accomplished together in 2025. That’s why I’m especially excited about the year-in-review edition of our On the Agenda podcast, coming out on December 29. It will be a chance to revisit key milestones, celebrate community partnerships, and look back at the moments that shaped our work here in the Biggest Little City. I can’t wait to share it with you! Since this is our last newsletter before the holidays, I want to extend my warmest wishes to you and your loved ones. Whether you’re celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, or simply enjoying the season in your own way, may this time be filled with peace, joy, and the shared warmth of the season. With best wishes, Jackie Bryant Reno City Manager Is there something specific you'd like to see in this newsletter? Please send me an email! Those involved in it work with Reno Public Works while being helped through the process of finding employment. “I think the most important thing is this really is a hand-up and it’s not a hand-out,” said Kathleen Taylor of the Reno City Council. “The participants that are involved in this program are really interested in making a change in their life.” The City of Reno and Volunteers of America team up to make Reno Works happen. Monday’s graduating class was the 20th."
