You can enroll by clicking the link below. If you live in Reno, Sparks, or unincorporated Washoe County, you may have already received, or will soon get, a notice in your sewer bill about Smart911. You have automatically been opted in for Smart911 using the contact information from your sewer account. What Smart911 Does Smart911 sends emergency alerts that are specific to your area, such as evacuation orders or shelter-in-place notices. You can get these alerts by cell phone, landline, or email, depending on what contact information is on your account. These alerts are more targeted than the general emergency messages you might see on TV or hear on the radio. Manage Your Alerts Enroll or Opt-out by clicking the link below. Update or add more contact information or share important details, like medical conditions or mobility issues, to help first responders assist you better.
