Looking for a safe, fun, and reliable environment for your child before and after school? Sierra Kids is here for you! The Spring 2025 semester is now open for registration. Why Choose Sierra Kids? Sierra Kids is a recreational enrichment program designed for children ages 5-12 (must be in kindergarten if under 6). It offers supervised care that aligns with the Washoe County School District calendar, giving families flexible and dependable options throughout the school year. Sierra Kids operates at the elementary school sites, so no bussing or other transportation is necessary. Program Dates: January 6 – June 6, 2025 Program locations include Glenn Duncan Elementary (morning-only site), Caughlin Ranch, Double Diamond, Jessie Beck, JWood Raw, Mamie Towles, Mount Rose, Peavine, Roy Gomm, Sarah Winnemucca, Silver Lake, and George Westergard. Families whose schools are not listed should contact the Washoe County School District and request Sierra Kids programming at your elementary school. Affordable Pricing Options $36/week for morning sessions $54/week for afternoon sessions $75/week for conference week afternoons Important Notes: Current participants must re-enroll. If your preferred site is full, join the waitlist through the registration process. Waitlists are cleared based on staffing and we are currently in a position to add more students at all sites.
