The Paradise Park Master Plan will help ensure the community's voice is heard and will inform future park updates and improvements to better serve all communities. Community Workshop Details: Who: City of Reno Parks and Recreation Representatives What: Paradise Park Master Plan Community Workshop When: Monday, September 30, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. Where: Paradise Park Activity Center, 2745 Elementary Dr, Reno, NV 89512 “We are grateful for all of the public input we have seen so far,” said Nathan Ullyot, Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Reno. “Teglia’s Paradise Park is one of the City’s largest parks and houses important community resources including an activity center. There is not an existing master plan for this park, so we want to make sure this plan has our community’s voice.” The Parks and Recreation Department held an initial community-wide survey to gather initial feedback related to the park. Those survey results were compiled and the feedback gathered was used to develop conceptual designs showing possible improvement options for Paradise Park that will be presented at the community workshop. Spanish assistance will be available at the workshop. This workshop aims to gather feedback to help the City of Reno, and the design team better understand community preferences for amenities, locations, and size of renovations and new park features in Paradise Park. The public is also invited to share their feedback by completing the Paradise Park Master Plan Survey before Monday, October 14.
